The Dixie Heights Marching Colonels Band Boosters, with the agreement and support of the school district, is an organized group of parents, grandparents and interested members of the community. The boosters enjoy a very unique partnership with Dixie Heights High School as an extended support group for the band program. The success of the band depends on the unique partnership between the school and boosters, and to the active participation of students, parents, grandparents and the community. The role of our booster organization is to "boost" the Dixie Heights High School band program in a positive manner. Membership is strictly volunteer based.
Some of the specific objectives of the boosters include:
To boost the band program excitement and inspiration as well as maintain enthusiasm, interest and support.
To cooperate with those in charge of the band and Dixie Heights High School to ensure that the band functions at the highest level of excellence.
To build and develop a close working relationship between parents, grandparents, students, the community, and the band Director.
To encourage and foster the knowledge, performance, and appreciation of quality music.
To assist and support all fundraising to finance additional extras not provided for in the school budget
To provide volunteer support as needed for the various activities and functions of the band.

Planning, scheduling and running band booster meetings, Planning, scheduling and running additional as needed, band booster meetings, Fill in for missing officers, Main liaison to the Band Director, Executes requests by Band Director, Being a voting member of the band booster, Manages finances with treasurer, Recruits and, supports Booster Executive Board Officers, Primary contact for band parents, Generates ideas for new projects, Coordinate communication between Director and booster organization, Coordinate communication among booster officers
Vice President- Lesa Roberts
Assumes the duties of president in the absence of the president, Assist the president as necessary, Solicit volunteers to fill vacant booster leadership positions, Being a voting member of the band booster, Member of teams planning band activities, Attend monthly band booster meetings and any additional board meetings, Perform other duties as requested by the band director
Bursar- Sara Devore
Maintaining all band student accounts, Sends out monthly statements through email
Secretary- Crystal Mann
To record and maintain the minutes of all meetings of the Band Boosters and all executive board meetings, To maintain accurate copies of Band Boosters correspondence, To handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence, To take attendance at all meetings, Generates correspondence and thank you notes on behalf of the boosters
Treasurer- Michael Kane
Prepares budget and reports for approval at next meeting, Collects and deposits checks from fundraisers, Maintains records for tax returns and submits to the accountant and IRS, Reconcile monthly account reports, Reports to boosters that the tax return has been filed each year, Write checks for approved purchases, Manages bills to be ensure they are paid, Handles all band booster funds including deposits and outgoing checks, Being a voting member of the band booster.

Facilitates organizational communication between Executive Board and Membership through written, verbal, email, social media and website.
