BAND STUDENTS Cost - $75 per student (Includes Hotel for both nights and bus ride) Method of Paying 1. You can pay for the trip out of pocket through PayPal or with cash/check. 2. Sell Candy Bars to cover a portion or the total cost of the trip.* see Candy Form CHAPERONES Cost - $75 per chaperone. Includes hotel room for both nights and bus ride. If you want to chaperone and also bring someone else from your family (example band sibling) it would cost $75 for them as well. FAMILIES/ADULTS wanting their own rooms (Note There are a limited number of rooms available. We will try to accommodate everyone that we can on a first come first serve basis). $150 Covers one hotel room for 2 nights and does NOT include bus ride. $30 Per Person for anyone wishing to ride the bus. (Again, there are a limited number of seats and we will fill the buses in this order; students first, then chaperones wanting to ride, and finally first come first serve extra family members) We will be riding Charter buses and staying in a Comfort Inn Suites in Tennessee, approximately 20 minutes south of WKU. Please DO NOT contact the hotel directly. Everything will come through the band. Food The band will be providing pizza on Friday night, the hotel will have free breakfast for Saturday and Sunday. We will do the $2 meal for the competition day on Saturday, plus donated snacks. You will need money for two fast food stops, one on the way down Friday afternoon and one on the way home, Sunday afternoon. ACTIVITY INFORMATION We are taking the kids to Grand Old Golf and Valley Park Go-Karts on Friday evening. All chaperones and families are welcome to come to this event as well. If you want to go to the event location, but do not want ride go-karts or play miniature golf then it is free for you to go.
If you want to ride go-karts or miniature golf it will cost the following amounts; Go-Karts only - $6 per person(unlimited) Miniature Golf only - $6 per person (unlimited) Go-Karts AND Miniature Golf - $12 per person (unlimited). We are planning on staying at the location for around 3 to 4 hours.
If you do not want to pay out of pocket for the event then you can do one of the two following things to earn the money 1. Sell more candy bars (24 more bars would pay for unlimited golf and go-karts). 2. Sell Pies! We are starting a Pie Sale on Thursday, October 6th. If you sell 2 pies you will get either golf or go-karts unlimited for free. If you sell 4 pies you will get both go-karts and golf for free.
