Band Bucks

2X THIS FRIDAY ONLY!

REMINDER!! This Friday (2/24/12) starts our Fish Fry Fridays!!! We need your help!! Since we will be losing some of the kids during the fish fry for pep band and guard practice, we will be offering DOUBLE BAND BUCKS for this Friday only!! All family members and friends are welcome!

A little change from original email - We are breaking it down to four 2 hour shifts to make it easier. You will earn 100 band bucks for each shift worked as follows....

Shift #1 - 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Shift #2 - 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Shift #3 - 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Shift #4 - 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Examples:

1) Student #1 works 2:30 - 6:00 p.m. - earns 200 band bucks (400 for this Friday only)

2) Student #2 works 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. - earns 300 band bucks (600 for this Friday only)

3) Parent #1 works 2:30 - 8:00 p.m. - earns 400 band bucks (800 for this Friday only)

4) Parent #2 works 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. - earns 100 band bucks (200 for this Friday only)

Please come out and enjoy the fun!!! Also, don't forget to let your family, friends, and neighbors know to give your name when they order their food and you will earn an extra 100 band bucks for each!!!!

WHERE: DIXIE BAND CAMPUS (CONCESSIONS, CRAFT SHOWS, DDR FRIDAYS, GARAGE SALE, CAR WASHES, FESTIVAL AT THE HEIGHTS, ETC.), BENGALS STADIUM, RESTAURANT FUNDRAISERS, ETC.

1) Students: Earn $10 per each hour volunteered/worked at miscellaneous events. Parents/Guardians/Older Siblings, etc.: Earn $100 for your child’s band buck account for each eligible event volunteered/worked.

2) Donate at least 10 items for garage sale, bake sale, or cookout and earn $100 in Band Bucks!

Can be a combination of any of the following for a total of 10: items to sell, bake sale items (cookies, brownies, candy, etc.), cookout items (pack of hamburgers, pack of hotdogs, pack of hamburger/hotdogs buns, bottle of ketchup, mustard, 12 packs of soft drinks, water, paper products, etc.).

*Let's use the Barron Family because they are always willing to help at all events. 

- Nick Barron donates items as follows: 6 garage sale items, 4 packs hotdogs = $100 BB

- Teresa Barron (Mom) – Works 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. = $100 BB (split $50 in each account)

Band Bucks will continue to accumulate throughout the season. You will not receive your actual band bucks until ‘Auction Day’. On that day, each student will receive an envelope filled with their band bucks to spend!!! Items up for auction will include miscellaneous donated items from businesses in our Community such as restaurant/store gift cards, DVDs, CDs, Video Games, band related items, cash, movie passes, Reds tickets, and many, many more items. We will send a list of items monthly as we begin to receive them so that the kids will know what they have to chance to bid on!!

There will be many more opportunities to earn Band Bucks. After we put together a list/schedule of events, we will distribute to everyone.

It will be the student’s responsibility to check in with the appropriate people for each event so that your time, donations, can be tracked. For this event, you will need to find Lori Lietzenmayer or Tammy Lawson and let them know what you have donated, worked, etc.

** PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS FAKE MONEY!! IT IS NOT REAL MONEY AND CANNOT BE EARNED TOWARDS BAND FEES, ETC.
