Also a huge thank you to the amount of support that was there in the stands! The kids had a great crowd to perform in front of with a lot of Dixie people there to cheer them on! Thanks to my staff Greg, Keith, and Roc for creating a great show and working so hard over the past few months. Next show is the WGI Regional in Dayton, OH. This is a huge show for us and we have more show to add and a few tweaks in the stuff that is already there. Fees The total fee is $300. The first $100 payment is due by Thursday, January 21st. We will take it sooner; however if you have it. All payments can be turned into the gray payment box on Mr. Duddey’s desk in the band office. All checks are made out to Dixie Band Boosters. Pep Band Info - Below is the corrected schedule. This is the same amount of games that was originally released... just with accurate days. Calendar is correct as well. February 5th – FRIDAY NIGHT , February 10th – WEDNESDAY NIGHT, February 16th – TUESDAY NIGHT, February 17th – WEDNESDAY NIGHT, February 19th – FRIDAY NIGHT - PEP BAND PIZZA PARTY at 5:30pm. Arrival is 6pm except for the pizza party night. Districts and Regionals will be announced once we know how the teams advance and depending on the gym we may or may not be allowed into the games. Fundraiser at Barleycorns - All you have to do is go eat! Monday, February 15th – ALL DAY – 11AM -11PM – MUST HAVE FLYER WITH YOU (CLICK HERE TO PRINT IT)– BRING FRIENDS, FAMILY –WE HAVE NO SCHOOL THAT DAY – HECK –PLAN OFFICE LUNCH/MEETINGS THAT DAY AT BARLEYCORNS!!! WE GET A PERCENTAGE OF ALL MEALS THAT WE SHOW A COUPON FOR!!! SO WE GET PAID TO EAT –WHAT COULD BE EASIER!!!! WHERE: Barleycorn’s on Dixie Highway, Lakeside Park Band Camp Schedule - Here are the 3 weeks that I have scheduled for camps. This does not yet include times of camps for specific groups. Week 1 – JULY 5 -9 Week 2 – JULY 12 –16 Week 3 – JULY 19 –23 NO PRACTICE WEEK – JULY 26 – 30 (please try and schedule vacations during this week) Pay your Fees by Credit Card - If you have not yet paid the $50 Band Camp Food Fee, please do so as soon as you can. If you ordered shoes please pay that as well - $30 for winds and percussion $25 for guard members. If you are not current on band fees, please pay those now or send in the salmon colored form telling us when you will be able to pay. Remke's Caring Neighbors Sign up Form - Click here to view and then print the form if you like. Today I just picked up a check from Remke's for our 2d quarter - "Good Neighbor" collection - $150. This is such an easy way to make money for the band and I think it should be used more. The form is on the band website - you just have to fill it out & drop it off at Remke's service desk - then the band gets money everytime you buy groceries. I have sent it to my family members who I know shop at Remke's too.
